Oct. 2010 - Congrats to Bob Bruneau on setting the both the IHRA and NHRA records in SS/TA with his S-10 and becoming the first S/S truck in the 8's with an 8.94 @ 150.

MRC Gets it's First 5 Sec. DoorSlammer...

Congratulations to driver Barney Squires and the entire Fidelio Montrond team on their 5.92 @ 237.30 pass at the shakedown at E-town.
The incrementals on the run were as follows:
.966 60ft. 2.55 330ft. 3.85 @ 190 to the eighth.
These runs were made with an IHRA legal engine combo, not an outlaw eng. this makes it the 4th fastest car in doorslamer history and currently the wordls fastest corvette.

Congratulations to Peter Lund from Denmark running 4.60's in the 1/8th mile during early testing. Peter's 2002 Pro-Mod Firebird is the first car built by MRC to compete overseas in the Scandinavian Pro-Mod circuit. We are proud that Peter is the owner of our first car built for export and wish him the best of luck.

Jim Kane in the finals at the shakedown at E-town

Congratulations to Jim Kane for making it to the final at the shakedown at E-town.

In Pro-Modified, after qualifying #6 with a 6.37@223mph. Jim used a string of low 6.30's and stellar reaction times to advance to the final running a best of 6.31@223. The final was a great race, but Jim could not cover John Nobile's amazing 6.27 run. Jim will be repainting the Vette over the winter and is looking foward to another great season.
